Since opening in 1978 the Westcliffe Gallery has offered a new dimension to art lovers visiting North Norfolk. The Gallery has been constantly enhanced to ensure that its stock of 250 carefully selected paintings can be viewed at their best in a relaxed environment.
While selling quality works by artists from the 18th Century onwards, it also promotes the talent of new and established painters. More than 30 professional contemporary artists have their work regularly on display. The gallery is also the base for the Guild of Norwich Painters, whose annual exhibition is held here.
A selection of one-man shows and group exhibitions are held throughout the year offering a variety of quality paintings by top leading professional artists.
Previous major exhibitions have included American artist Robert Heindel's emotional studies of dancers, the renowned Iraqi artist Suad al Attar and vivid abstracts by the international architect Will Alsop.
The staff's knowledge and appreciation of such a wide range of painting genres is reflected in their understanding of collectors' needs - whether for occasional additions or to develop an established interest.
If you have an interest in a particular artist or subject we are always pleased to help.
